Package includes: three sets of sediment and carbon filters, three bags of DI resin refill, one TFC150 membrane, and one MK300 maintenance kit.
1st stage: high capacity, multi-layer 5 micron sediment filter, to remove sediment, rust, sand, (replace every 6-12 months)
2nd stage: high capacity carbon filter, carbon block, coconut shell activated carbon removes chlorine, taste & odor (replace every 12 months) * We have modified the filter from granular to carbon block for higher performance.
3rd stage:
HTFC-150, (1:1 ratio) Special High Efficiency TFC type RO membrane filter
* Capacity: 100 GPD gallons per day at 60 psi input pressure. 120GPD at 80 psi, 150 GPD at 100 psi.
* This is a high efficiency 1 to 1 ratio RO membrane. The production rate is about 260 to 300 mL per minute and the drain rate using 300 mL/min flow restrictor is about 280 to 320 mL/min depending on input pressure. Therefore the product to drain ratio is approximately 1 to 1 (versus a conventional, typical RO membrane the product to drain ratio is 1:3 to 1:4)
* The rejection rate is pressure dependent as well. Average NaCl rejection is about 90% to 93%
* This membrane filter is standard size. It fits all standard size membrane housing
* The drain flow control or the flow restrictor should be 300 mL/min
4th stage: DI resin cartridge filter. DI (de-mineralize) resin refills, each bag contains DI resin refills for just enough one DI cartridge
Maintenance kit: The maintenance kit includes: automatic shut off valve, flow restrictor, and check valve. Maintenance kit should be replaced regularly to maintain optimal operating condition and to prolong the life of the membrane filter.
