This water booster pump assembly is designed to be used for 100GPD to 200GPD Aeroponics water systems. It is pre-wired so that the installation would be easy and neat.
The Pump assembly includes:
- Pump Aquatec 5853 pump to boost input water pressure up to 130 psi
- Reducer fitting: Two reducer fitting 3/8" to 1/4"; this pump has standard input/output of 3/8"
- Transformer: 115VAC to 24VAC, 2.5 Amp, plug in to regular 110V electrical outlet, USA plug.
- Pressure switch (100PSI): to make the pump and RO system function automatically. It turns on/off the pump and solenoid valve when RO pure water output is closed or when the pressure tank is full.
- Solenoid valve: to turn off water supply when pressure switch turn it off, and turn on water when it is making water.
- Pressure gauge: to indicate pump output pressure
- Instruction sheet.
NOTE: Aquatec 5853 pump has an internal bypass mechanism it does not allow pressure to go higher than 130 psi for this model.
NOTE: This pump assembly is not for continuous duty. If you need to run the pump more than 4 hours, you can use a timer to turn on one hour and turn off for 1/2 hour to cool down the pump and solenoid valve, or you can put a fan to blow air into the pump assembly to cool it down.
